Tomas A. Silva
Tomas A. Silva graduated in Business Administration from the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1986, he moved to Miami, Florida, where he began working with notable veterans in the Latin American distribution industry, including Riccardo Cella and Daniel Gutiérrez of Titanus. He also gained valuable experience under Louis Boeri and Rafael Fusaro of APA.
Silva joined Capital Vision, contributing to the production of El Magnate, the first Spanish-language soap opera filmed entirely in the United States.
In 2008, Silva founded his own distribution company, Dinter LLC. The roots of Dinter can be traced back to the 1980s in Buenos Aires, where the original Distribuidores Internacionales (Dinter) was established by Ovidio Lisa, Mario Arce, and Jorge Tyburec. Silva, who started as an “office boy” at the original company, chose to honor his first mentor, Mr. Lisa, by naming his new venture Dinter, aspiring to replicate the success of its predecessor.
